One garden, two families, zero staging
The Hartleys married in a family garden with 90 guests, a string trio and weather that refused to cooperate until the exact minute of the ceremony. Our two-person crew covered ten hours — preparations, vows under clearing skies, and a dance floor that needed no encouragement.
The couple received a four-minute highlight film, a full documentary edit and a next-day teaser for family abroad.
Rain until five minutes before
The ceremony moved outdoors only minutes before showtime. We re-blocked every camera position on the fly while keeping the couple blissfully unaware anything had changed.
Invisible by design
Long lenses, no staged moments, no repeated kisses. We recorded vows and speeches with hidden lavaliers and a backup recorder, and built the highlight around the couple’s own words rather than a music track telling them how to feel.
“Calm on the day, invisible when it mattered, and the highlight film made my mother cry. Worth every penny.” — Sofia Hartley, Bride
