A thirsty launch in 45 seconds
Summit Brew Co. needed a launch film for their first canned cold brew — something bold enough for paid social and honest enough for their café crowd. We built the spot around the morning ritual: the crack of the can, the first pour, the first sip.
Shot in two days across their roastery and three cafés, the film pairs slow-motion product macro with real customer mornings — no actors, just regulars.
Stand out in a crowded cold case
Every cold brew brand films the same slow pour. Our challenge was making Summit’s can recognizable in the first two seconds of a muted autoplay feed — before a single word is read.
Sound first, then pictures
We designed the spot around texture and sound: condensation, the can crack, ice against glass. The grade pushes warm ambers against deep espresso browns so the yellow can pops in any feed. Captions carry the story for silent viewers.
“Notchcut turned a routine product shoot into a launch film our whole team is proud of. Bookings from the video paid for the production twice over.” — Marcus Hale, Founder, Summit Brew Co.

Results that poured in
The hero film anchored the launch across paid social, the website and in-café screens. Summit sold through its first production run in five weeks and rebooked us for the seasonal follow-up.
